Bigo

Bigo Live is a no-cost application offering users the opportunity to engage in live streaming, watch a variety of streams, and connect with individuals worldwide. It provides features for sharing images, incorporating hashtags, and sending virtual gifts to fellow users. Bigo Live is owned by a Singapore-based company called BIGO Technology, which was founded in 2014. BIGO’s headquarters and regional centers are focused on building Artificial Intelligence capabilities and enhancements, especially for localization and country specific requirements. At present, BIGO has over 30 localized operation offices, 6 Research & Development centers and more than 4000 employees across the globe.

Launched in 2016, Bigo Live has successfully established its global footprint and now has a large user base in more than 150 countries and region. It currently occupies a dominant position in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and other markets.

Currently today Bigo is #2 on both the Google Pay store and Apple Appstore directly after TikTok.

Bigo Live allows users to initiate their own live streams, observe others' broadcasts, and engage with performers in real-time interactions. Live streamers receive immediate feedback through comments from viewers and can locate nearby users. Viewers have the option to send virtual gifts to performers, which can later be converted into real currency. Our app is very inclusive and diverse, from celebrities, content creators, and everyday working individuals.

Bigo Live operates on a virtual currency known as "Beans," which viewers can acquire by making real-money purchases. Broadcasters earn a share of the Beans received as virtual gifts from viewers.
